A small, quiet world in green. Stillwater looks softly sage in some light and a deeper green in others, with dark, branching patterns like bare branches reflected in calm water. Its appearance varies with the lighting, giving you a little something new to notice each time you wear it.
We noticed its beauty beneath the water along Lake Erie’s shoreline at Sturgeon Point Marina and brought it home by hand. After tumbling, we cut, shaped, and polished the stone into an elongated oval cabochon. Silver-colored wirework follows its shape, and a silver-plated steel chain lets the green take center stage.
Every branch and marking belongs to this one stone. Carry it as a little memory of the shoreline, and of the lovely things you notice when you give yourself a moment to pause.
We’re rock collectors, not geologists, but we know a keeper when we find one. Its exact stone type hasn’t been confirmed.
