A little earth, a little water, and a reason to slow down. Mother Earth brings together mossy green and peach in a stone whose natural colors were already quietly beautiful beneath the lake.
This sedimentary composite stone called to us from under the water along the Lake Erie shoreline at Sturgeon Point Marina. We gathered it by hand, then tumbled, cut, shaped, and polished it into an oval cabochon, following the beauty we saw that day. A copper-colored woven bail and brown leather cord give it a warm, earthy finish.
Wear it as a little reminder to wander, look closer, and trust what catches your eye. We found our part of its story by the lake. Now it gets to be part of yours.
